Rough cut and skills audit LiveType

This is the rough cut of our movie. The following film is yet to be finished, but in this version, we have included all the ideas that we were planning to do, which was the split screen of the good girl and bad girl, the reverse edit which plays a huge role in our movie because it shows that our character is not who she think she is. Also we added the dream scene which is at the end, this was not in our original plan but we had to put this in to make the scene more effective and also it gives the idea that our protagonist's mental issue. The music that we made for this opening, has a modern feel, a sort of indie rock music feel which fits with the concept of our movie. However we have shown this rough edit to a lot of people and they don't seem to understand our storyline. So to help the audience understand our storyline we think we would add a voice over narrative to elaborate the character's story and also include another scene where the bad wakes up from her sleep.

This screen grab from LiveType was the working progress for our credits for our movie. We use a font that suited our movie which was a sans serif font, and the way we made sure the credits comes in the right time is that, it matches with the action of the character. For example the tittle starts with the production and then "music by" next to the iPod. Also the timing of our tittle matches with the music and action, which were edited through live type.
